individual tournament is coming back
While the All-Star Duals were originally planned without an open tournament this year, we’ve decided to bring it back in a limited format. With four additional mats available during the afternoon while the Middle School and Girls Duals are taking place, we felt it was a great opportunity to give athletes who didn’t make a team a chance to still compete. This year’s Open will look a little different — we will cap the field at 150 wrestlers and awards will be standard medals rather than our usual custom awards. Because of that, we’ve also kept the entry fee very low. The goal is simple: provide another opportunity for kids to get matches and be part of the All-Star Duals experience.
Wrestlers do not need to be in the duals to participate in the open. Anyone can attend the open.

Open Miscellaneous:
-Wrestlers may enter multiple divisions

-NCAA out of bounds rule
-Awards for top 3 place finishers
-This will be a Rapid Fire style tournament. No minimum breaks between matches. The open will conclude within 3 hours.
-Headgear is required
-Divisions / weight classes may be combined if necessary

Awards upon conclusion of bracket
Open wrestlers can weigh-in at any of the above times. Open division weight class will be subject to the safety of the wrestler. Every attempt will be made to keep the weights within a tolerance of 12%. Walk-in registration accepted at Friday’s weigh-ins. Wrestlers must be pre-registered to weigh-in on Saturday. Duals weigh-in will be used for the open. Every effort will be made to stay on schedule. Brackets of 5 or less will be round robin.
